Due to the flooding, Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has issued a closure of Interstate 5 (I-5) from Exit 68 (Hwy 12) to Exit 88 (Grand Mound).
US Highway 6 (Hwy 6) is also now closed from Milepost 6 to Milepost 48 (near Twin Oaks).
Accumulation of water on or over the roadways makes driving too dangerous or impossible in these areas.
Detour coordination for I-5 is being discussed. WSDOT will provide an update about detour routes once available. There are no detour plans for Hwy 6 at this time.
If you do not have to drive, stay home.
