The Southwest Washington Fairgrounds is pleased to announce that the
“Miscellaneous Venues COVID-19 Requirements” now allows our fairgrounds to
begin scheduling events to the extent allowable in the February 1, 2021 summary of changes.
In short, Phase 2 allows for “occupancy for an indoor retail event [and is] limited to 25 percent capacity, up to 200 people (this includes exhibitors and excludes staff), whichever is fewer”. There are additional “General Requirements for all phases” as well, that must be followed.
We will continue to watch the state guidelines for fairs, festivals, and related
events. To the extent allowable by law, we plan to do everything we can to put on
an amazing community event this coming August.
