Join your friends, neighbors, and families on Chehalis Centralia Railroad’s 2020 Pumpkin Train. A new feature this year, on October 30 at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., is the Haunted Halloween Train for adults 21 years and over.

For the Pumpkin Trains, excursions are Saturdays, October 24 and 31, and Sunday, October 25, at 12:00 noon and 1:30 p.m. Rides are approximately 30 minutes long. Children, as well as adults, are encouraged to wear costumes and participate in the costume contest for all age groups, (masks are required) and help create a fun-filled Halloween atmosphere. All COVID-19 suggested guidelines will be in place. Pumpkins, provided by WillyTee’s Pumpkin Patch, are ready for eager children under age 15. The cost is $15 per person for the ride, pumpkins and a goody bag.  Children 2 and under are free. Reserve your tickets in advance to ensure seating at SteamTrainRide.com. Click on Tickets.

The Haunted Halloween Train 21+ is Friday, October 30, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Beware of Ghosts and Goblins, but grab your clever-scariest-cutest costume and plan on being part of the spooktacular 21+ train excursion featuring Halloween’s iconic characters. Costume contest, prizes, refreshments on board and scary fun galore. The excursion, followed by a visit to our own Haunted Halloween House (railcar), departs for the unknown at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. $45 per person. By reservation only. Click on Tickets at SteamTrainRide.com.

Reserve your tickets in advance at SteamTrainRide.com. Click on Tickets. Tickets are general admission so come early to have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. A limited number of walk-up tickets are available for each ride if seats are available. We suggest coming ½ hr prior to boarding as the train leaves the station promptly at the “bewitching” hour! Snacks and concessions are available in the Depot prior to departure. Free Parking.

Please note: the train cars are not heated so dress appropriately. Due to the restoration work on the steam locomotive, the Pumpkin Train and Haunted Halloween Trains will be pulled by our #6 Diesel locomotive.

Pumpkin Ride dates:  Saturdays, October 24 and 31 and Sunday, October 25, at 12:00 noon and 1:30 p.m.

Haunted Halloween Train 21+ Friday, October 30, at 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

COVID 19 safety measures and guidelines are in place including reduced occupancy, so seating is limited. Our historic train is safe and ready for taking passengers on a journey through the Chehalis River Valley.
