Three days ago we sent out a letter from Dan Rich, our Board President, about our COVID-19 RELIEF FUND. In the past two days, we have two Board Members, Dan Rich and Mark Dulin, who have pledged $5,000 in matching dollars. We need your help to achieve our fundraising goal of $5,000 to help meet the coming needs in Lewis County.
We are faced with indefinite school and business closures, isolation, and the threat of contagion. We thought the shutdown would be a few weeks, but it could now be several months. Too many children and families here in our communities are in jeopardy and need our help.
A fund advisory committee made up of members from our Board, and City and County representatives in a position to be familiar with local needs, will make grant recommendations for distributing our support. Our plan is to work with the command centers in our county who deliver needed supplies and services to those that have relied on institutions and schools that are suddenly not able to provide in the same ways as before.
By helping us raise $5,000, we can take advantage of the matching funds. $10,000 will go a long way to help those in need.
