Enjoy an evening with award-winning author and former Seattle Times journalist Lynda V. Mapes as she shares her latest book, The Trees are Speaking: Dispatches from the Salmon Forest. The talk will be held on Thursday, March 12, from 6:30 to 8:00pm in TAC 122, Centralia College (600 Centralia College Blvd., Centralia, 98531). Meet with conservation groups from 6:00 to 6:30pm.
The event is free and open to students and the public. Sponsored by Centralia College and the Chehalis Basin Collaborative for Salmon Habitat (chehalisleadentity.org).
