WorkSource is holding a FREE indoor Pop-Up Resource and Job Fair at the Mountain View Timberland Library on Tuesday, March 15th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Come and chat in-person with WorkSource staff to learn about the resources we offer and how we can assist with your job search. Recruiters from multiple employers will also be present. Bring questions and copies of your resume if you are ready to apply!
Covid-19 safety protocol will be observed by all guests at this indoor event.

Work Party at the Chehalis River Discovery Trail
Saturday, March 26th from 9 am ‘til 12:00 noon

What: Discovery Trail Work Party to repair recent flood damage.
Snacks and drinking water will be available (bring your own bottle).
Due to hazards left by the floods, this event is not suitable for young children.
You must pre-register for this event. See instructions below.
Where: Chehalis River Discovery Trail, 1545 Goodrich Rd, Centralia. Parking for high
ground clearance vehicles will be at the old barn (follow the signs). Rides will
be provided as needed from the trail’s regular lot at the treatment plant.
When: 9 AM until 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 26th, 2022. Masking is optional.
Please join Chehalis River Basin Land Trust volunteers, the Great Old Broads and others as we work to repair recent flood damage along the Discovery Trail. (See: Discovery Trail along the Chehalis River (lewiscountytrails.org) Please arrive early to sign the waiver.
Sturdy gloves and suitable work clothes are recommended. We will have some garden tools and gloves available at the site. Please feel free to bring your own hand tools if you’d like.

WorkSource and the Capital Mall have teamed up to bring you a FREE Pop-up Job Fair on Friday May 6th from noon to 4:00 PM. This event will be hosted by Capital Mall at the indoor court in front of Macy’s.

Burnt Ridge Nursery and Orchards in Onalaska will host weekly organic gardening classes this summer. In the first session, we will discuss how to plan gardens and home orchards and ways to add trees, shrubs, and vines to your existing landscape. We’ll also touch on planting for pollination, nitrogen fixation, sod removal, and mulching. Presented by Ben Kunesh, on staff horticulturalist.
