Free and fun introduction to square dancing. A chance to get out and get moving. You’ll be dancing right away. Good exercise for body and brain in a friendly atmosphere. No experience necessary. Bethel’s School of the Arts is excited to announce their second Dinner Theater Event. Join us as we take a trip to the 1950’s for Food, Music and Fun! Invite your friends & family to the hottest spot in town, Uncle Phil’s Diner!
Performances are Saturday, February 18th at 1pm and 5:30pm, at Bethel Church – Chehalis Campus, 132 Kirkland Road (Exit 72).
Proceeds from the event will help provide stage lighting on Bethel Downtown/School of the Arts’ Liberty Theater upgraded stage at 413 N Tower Ave, Centralia.

This social, family-friendly class gets your body and mind moving in a fun atmosphere. By the end of ten weeks you will have learned the basics of modern square dancing – the same moves used in thousands of square dance club dances and dance events throughout the world. You’ll be dancing at the very first lesson. Couples, families and singles are all welcome. First lesson is Monday, February 20. Sponsored by Olympia Area Square Dancers.

This free forum will offer separate presentations for adults and youth. The adults will learn about current marijuana laws, marketing strategies, and discuss risks to youth. The youth will learn about laws pertaining to them and dangers associated with marijuana use. this forum will provide an opportunity to get facts and ask questions. There will be refreshments provided.
Our season starts on the first Thursday after St. Patrick’s Day and then meets every Thursday until the last Thursday before Halloween. We meet at 6pm at O’Blarney’s Irish Pub in downtown Centralia to begin our weekly run. We will have 6-8 different routes which we will alternate throughout the year. We end our run at O’Blarney’s to enjoy great food and some social time before we all embark on our respective Fridays!
HOPE on the Slopes, Ski & Ride for a Cure is a vertical challenge and fundraising event for skiers and snowboarders benefiting the American Cancer Society. Individuals and teams engage in a friendly competition for awards and prizes in two categories: Top Fundraisers and Top Vertical Feet Vertical is tracked by RFID or GPS scanning system. Together we will find a CURE! Together we will finish the FIGHT!
This race is the kick-off to Run Amok’s season, which officially starts the Thursday before with a group training run at O’Blarney’s. Whether you want to join the club full time or just do this one race, you are sure to have fun.
