The wheel has turned again bringing us to the time of Summer Solstice. The Bounty of the land is full, the songbirds sing and the vibrant colors of the flowers fill the property.
Come and join us as we raise our horns/cups to Baldur and celebrate this beautiful season of light. There will be a Blot followed by a Sumbel. Our own völva, Elwin will sit on the high seat weaving the mysteries of seidr for the community.
Raise the vibration in the sacred land as we chant and weave our energies in a drum circle following the ritual. Music will be playing throughout the event channeling the energy shifts of the day.
We will offer a workshop on the sacred herbs of the Celtic people. We will discuss the herbs and then make herbal oil and a tincture. For your creative souls, our art project is to create a sun wheel with marigolds and make daisy crowns for your head.
We will be hosting a potluck picnic Style dinner. We will have a few tables and chairs set up but feel free to bring your blankets to lay down upon the soft grass and enjoy your dinner. I’m thinking that it would be lovely to have a barbecue. The sanctuary will provide the meats (brisket, ribs, sausages, and chicken as well as a couple of gallons of tea and a gallon of herb-infused water. All of you will bring the sides and desserts. Please comment on what you were bringing so others can know what is already being brought.
This event is limited to 20 participates. Please ONLY rsvp going if you have checked your calendar ahead of time and can attend. Many crave community at this time so please be mindful. This is an outside event and masks are optional, but be mindful of 3-foot distance. We will have hand sanitizer and paper towels for your hands.
What you need to bring;
A dish for the potluck, preferably prepared ahead of time.
A drum for the drum circle. ( we have a few to share)
A joyful heart and an excellent attitude. Anything that you would like to bring for the picnic, such as a chair or a blanket for your comfort. I hope to see everyone here.
We will be making drums again this year at this lovely venue (5th year!). We will be outdoors in the Goddess Grove, weather permitting.

We will be starting around 1:30 on Sunday, July 11th. Dress for comfort, we will be sitting on the ground. If you need accommodations for physical difficulties, please let us know so we can be sure to have them available. Bring snacks and lots of water or other liquids for yourself. We will be done by around 6:00.
We ask that anyone who isn’t completely vaccinated protect themselves and others by wearing a mask. Fully vaccinated participants need not mask.
