Yes, it’s still summer — but it’s not too soon to start picturing string lights, cozy sweaters, and a night out with the people you love. This December, The Washington Center for the Performing Arts invites Lewis County families to gather together for A Magical Cirque Christmas, the holiday cirque spectacular returning for two performances only: Sunday, December 27, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. and Monday, December 28, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for A Magical Cirque Christmas go on sale Thursday, August 20 at noon. Presale for Subscribers and FRIENDS of the Washington Center begins Wednesday, August 19 at noon.

Debra Van Tuinen: Five decades of artwork, from 1977 to the present, by one of the original artists who inspired the creation of the Washington Center Gallery.
Etchings, drawings, encaustic, and paintings consistently express the influence of a play of light on the land and seascapes. Ledges appear stacked among images of water and clouds, with sumi-style strokes creating stability in a moving palette of luminous colors. Our three-floor gallery is open to the public for viewing by appointment (Monday through Friday from 12 to 4 p.m.), or to ticketed patrons 1 hour prior to an event.
