The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce is pleased to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Three Rivers Care in celebration of their grand reopening. The ribbon cutting ceremony takes place on Tuesday, December 17, at 3 p.m. at 1305 Alexander Street in Centralia. Their grand opening follows.

Three Rivers Care closed in January 2022 due to flooding in the area that resulted in moving all residents to their facility in Olympia. Instead of reopening right away, Three Rivers Care seized the opportunity to renovate the entire facility. Now that Three Rivers Care is reopening, their administrative and healthcare workers are excited to welcome back former residents and open their doors to new residents as well.

The newly renovated facility boasts 43 rooms for up to 83 residents, a therapy gym, a beauty salon, and an indoor garden, among other features. Residents have plenty of entertainment at Three Rivers Care, with five to six activities offered a day, from crafts to book club to karaoke. Three Rivers Care Administrator Ashley Hogue shares what she’s most excited about for the reopening, saying, “For me, it’s being able to bring [the residents] back home. It’s been a long time coming, and they’ve been so excited.”

The community is invited to join the ribbon cutting and grand opening festivities with an open house, food and beverages, a hot cocoa bar, ornament making, and a visit with Santa for the kids. They’ve decorated three areas with different holiday themes: Winter Wonderland, North Pole, and Candyland Gumdrop.

Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce welcomes new businesses as well as those celebrating milestones and anniversaries with ribbon-cutting ceremonies to commemorate these events. There is no fee to businesses, and the general public is encouraged to attend. To learn more, visit chamberway.com.
