Residents and farmers have been enjoying locally grown fresh produce at Farm + Flourish since last December, and now the owner is formally celebrating its grand opening with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on October 11 at 11 a.m. Located at 202c South Tower Avenue in Centralia, Farm + Flourish is planning a special pop-up for pumpkins and welcoming the public indoors to explore its year-round offerings.

Two years ago, owner Alliyah Perry started a farm and began selling her produce at the Chehalis Farmer’s Market. While vending at the market, she began discussing with local producers the idea of a year-round storefront to offer produce and other locally made goods. The concept was well received, and Perry started the journey to bring this vision to life. She began by searching for space and later enrolled at Enterprise for Equity, a local business school. “Everything seemed to happen quickly from there,” explained Perry. “The space on Tower opened up, and we began the process of turning the space into a storefront.”

Farm + Flourish provides seasonal produce sourced directly from local growers. “Everything comes from small, local businesses,” says Perry. “We prioritize products from hyper-local businesses in Lewis County first, then expand to Thurston, Grays Harbor, and the rest of Western Washington.” Shoppers can also discover treasures such as jams, granolas and seeds, Lebanese food, popped sorghum, a variety of dairy products, vinegars, salts, teas, cookies and coffee, as well as body products and so much more. Additionally, Christmas trees, Washington navel oranges, and plant starts are offered seasonally. October’s pumpkin selection features a wide range to choose from, including white, black, and wart varieties — perfect for autumn décor and seasonal cooking.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony is organized by the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce as a free service to new or expanding businesses, rebranding efforts, or milestone anniversaries. The Chamber invites community members to celebrate and learn more about the local businesses that support the area.
