The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce announces a Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting for Mint City Coffee Roasters, a new coffee house and roaster that opened on November 29, 2022, in downtown Chehalis. The ribbon-cutting ceremony takes place on Tuesday, January 24, at noon.

Owners Jason and Shawna Boettner and Kyle and Sarah Askin will be on hand to celebrate their Grand Opening. As part of the activities, there will be a raffle drawing giveaway and refreshments served. Mint City Coffee Roasters is located at 539 N Market Blvd in Chehalis.

Mint City Coffee Roasting is the vision of two couples that have come together over the past few years. Jason and Shawna Boettner own the building, along with The Hotel Washington right next door and have been renovating the previous Vintage Motorcycle Museum since 2019.

Jason and Kyle grew up together and reconnected in 2020 after Kyle and his wife Sarah moved back to the area. Kyle had already begun roasting his own brand of coffee beans produced at home and owns several roasting machines himself. The perfect partnership was realized after the friends reconnected. The four of them together have created a warm, inviting coffee house space to hang out, featuring coffee roasted in-house imported from Guatemala, Columbia and Ethiopia.

Upstairs features an event space that can be rented out for business meetings, reunions or
other events. Mint City Coffee Roasting offers coffee for retail, wholesale, and custom
products. The public is invited to join in on the celebration on January 24. Find out more about Mint City Coffee Roasters at their website.
