After going through a comprehensive and thoughtful rebranding process, the Chehalis Community Renaissance Team has changed their name to Experience Chehalis along with adopting a new logo and brand. The goals of the name change were to simplify the organization’s name, eliminate confusion, and reflect the organization’s mission more clearly. The strategy, mission, and program work are largely unaffected by this move.

“We have a new look and new branding tools to promote our community. Who we are, remains the same,” said Annalee Tobey, executive director. Experience Chehalis will continue its program of work in small business economic development, community beautification, promotion, and downtown development. “We are thankful for our journey as CCRT and all the support we have had as we grow and evolve.  It’s going to take some time to get used to a new name,” stated Tobey.

Experience Chehalis is currently the name of the organization’s website and social media accounts. “In our efforts to promote Chehalis, we have used the name Experience Chehalis since the beginning,” said Tobey. At that time, this name was originally chosen for its appeal to those who live, work, and play in the community. Whether you live here or are visiting for the weekend, you can Experience Chehalis.

Along with the name change, the organization also adopted a new logo, branding tools, and tagline. The logo was developed to convey the energy and vitality within Chehalis and a subtle detail paying tribute to Chehalis’ railroad history. Tobey said, “A fun fact is that the dots in the monogram represent the rivets on a steam locomotive faceplate. Railroading has a big place in Chehalis’ identity.” The adopted tagline is “Spirit of Community” which reflects the small-town culture and can-do spirit of citizens throughout its history, working towards a better future.

Over the next few weeks, Experience Chehalis will be rolling out our rebranded collateral and online presence to reflect the new name. For questions about the name change, please call, 360.345.1738.
