The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad invites friends, families, and railfans to make reservations now to join the Saturday excursions beginning April 10. To jump-start the spring season we have begun operations earlier this year. Trains will depart the Chehalis Depot at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. each Saturday. Indoor and outdoor seating will be available. The popular Saturday evening Dinner Train will be offered on April 17, at 5 p.m.
Beginning May 29, the Chehalis Centralia Railroad will return to its full schedule: Saturdays, at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., and 5 p.m. and Sundays at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
New this year is our premier seating onboard the Spokane, Portland & Seattle historic railcar. This recently renovated car is like stepping back into the 1950s when rail travel was not only comfortable but fashionable as well. Four distinct seating areas are separate and reservable for small groups. Come ride in 1950s style and learn about the newly acquired piece of history. You can reserve an area in the SP&S 99 Business Car by selecting “Premier Seating Excursions” under “select events” when ordering your tickets. Groups are from three to eight.
Dinner train and Murder Mystery Dinner Trains are still limited this year, and will soon be available for reservations.
Until further notice and in compliance with Washington State guidelines trains will be limited to 50% capacity and the social distancing requirement will be enforced to ensure your safety as well as the safety of others. Extra measures will be taken with crew health screenings, masks, and sanitizing our facilities to minimize the COVID virus risk.
