Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (LCPHSS) announced August 19 that 12 more Lewis County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total number of Lewis County residents who have tested positive to 296.

Four of the 12 new patients are under 20, two are in their 20s, two are in their 40s, three are in their 50s, and one is in their 80s. No new recoveries or deaths were reported. Twenty-nine Lewis County residents with COVID-19 have been hospitalized at some point during their illness.

Six of these 12 new patients live in County Commissioner District #1, and three each live in Districts #2 and #3. New case totals by Commissioner District are:

No new overall testing data was available from the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) today.
