Nature Nurture Farmacy’s founder and leader Dr. Alicia Spalding is a Naturopathic Physician building the foundation of health for a stronger community through the use of herbal medicine, sustainable food cultivation and empowering education. The non-profit organization is empowering the community in their health journey, through education on healthy living, growing food and medicine and creating herbal remedies while focused on sustainability and disease prevention.

Fungi Perfecti is a family-owned business dedicated to promoting the cultivation of high-quality gourmet and medicinal mushrooms. In business since 1980, they have been instrumental in developing new technologies and markets for gourmet mushrooms throughout the world.

Farming with Fungi: This talk is an overview and exploration of a variety of ways that mushrooms can be incorporated into sustainable farming practice. From benefiting soil structure to increasing bloom production and supporting the health of your animals, fungi are your farm’s newest old friend. Come take in some knowledge, ask questions and buy mushrooms!

Tickets are on sale online with a suggested donation of $10. No one will be turned away for inability to pay and all are welcome.
