O‘Blarney’s at the Gibson House is not only a great place to eat, it’s also sports headquarters. And, with fall just around the corner, it’s time for football – Seahawks football. Located in downtown Centralia, O’Blarney’s is the place to be on game day.

With both Comcast XFINITY Pac-12 Network and NFL Sunday Ticket from DirectTV, O’Blarney’s has all the college and pro football games. Home team favorites include the Seahawks, Huskies and Cougars. There are even a few Ducks fans as well.

With seventeen HGTV’s, there’s not a bad seat in the house. Plus the crowd of regulars makes game watching even more fun. “Everyone gets into it,” says Jeff Malloy, managing partner at O’Blarney’s Irish Pub. “There are a few regulars who make noise with cheers and chants. They’re an inclusive group – they, and we, welcome everybody. The more the merrier.”

Don’t worry about a loud crowd, however; O’Blarney’s has a top-notch sound system so you won’t miss a thing.

Their chef cooks up fan favorites for Sunday Seahawks’ games along with everyday and new menu items. Game time specials include Blue Friday Nachos; a shareable-size dish of blue corn tortilla chips topped with seasoned ground beef or barbecue pork, with beer cheese and all the fixings. Finished off with decadent sour cream and guacamole, these nachos will satisfy even the hungriest of fans.

The Gas Interference Burger is a quarter pound chili burger topped with cheese, tortilla strips and onions. This hearty burger comes with fries and perhaps a bit of a warning in its name. But the taste is an absolute touchdown.

O’Blarney’s Cordon Bleu Sandwich is a local favorite. The Alpine roll is filled with crispy breaded chicken breast, ham and Swiss cheese topped off with lettuce, tomato and creamy dijonnaise. With a side of fries, this sandwich is yum on a bun.

The Hawk Dawg is an Irish classic with a football twist. This delicious Banger Sausage comes with cream cheese, grilled onions and tangy sauerkraut, topped with cheddar cheese and fries on the side.

Wash down all this great game food with twenty ounce Bud Lights for just $3 during Seahawks games.

For Sunday morning Seahawks games, O’Blarney’s serves a hearty breakfast buffet with biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, ham, fresh fruit and more.

Fans come from all over to watch the game. Marylee Peters is an international fan who was visiting her son from Canada when she came to O’Blarney’s to watch the Seahawks pre-season. “I like the friendly atmosphere and great service where everyone has a smile,” she says. “All the staff are awesome here.”

A local fantasy football group congregated at O’Blarney’s for their draft meet-up as well. Locals know this is the best place to watch the game and they appreciate the pub’s community involvement. “O’ Blarney’s has always been a great community partner with United Way and they give back to the community,” says Angie Brown, Board of Directors President for United Way of Lewis County.

Seahawks games at O’Blarney’s are tradition for many regulars. “It’s like you’re sitting in your own living room with friends and family,” says Sierra Wendler. Her husband Tyson even proposed at O’Blarney’s on Halloween. The couple has watched games at their favorite hangout since 2012.

Nisha Puri just canceled her cable service and needed a new place to catch the game. “As long as I can have wings, I’m happy,” she says, snacking on a plateful. O’Blarney’s sauces range from #1 “not so hot” to a super-hot #6 “call my lawyer.”

“I’ll be here for most of the season,” Puri says. “All the televisions give you a great view and there’s even family seating for those with kids.”

In addition to all the exciting game action, O’Blarney’s also offers a fun sports pool board. Fans pick a square on the grid for $1 and write their name. Then the friendly bartenders draw numbers representing the game scores. “It’s fun and random,” says Malloy. “It makes it fun when the score changes. The regulars really like it but anyone can play.” Winners receive $25 for each quarter they guess the right score.

O’Blarney’s Irish Pub has it all: football, fun, food and drinks. Their cozy atmosphere, welcoming regulars, friendly staff and fabulous culinary offerings make it the ideal destination for Seahawks Sundays. Grab your friends, pull up a bar stool and enjoy the fun with O’Blarney’s Irish Pub in downtown Centralia.
