Lis Addison is an award-winning and internationally recognized Composer, Vocalist, Dancer and Electronic Musician who does her own production. She is best known for her trancey electonic compositions that support sacred healing chants and songs, and like time travel, transport the listener into the Realms of Light. Her compositions range from meditative to ecstatic and are designed to inspire, empower and support healing for the individual and the natural world.

Addison’s music can be heard on conventional and internet radio and in dance, yoga, healing and meditation centers from Alaska to Zimbabwe. Her music has received favorable reviews in Africa, Canada, Europe, India, Korea, Mexico, Russia and the US and she has performed extensively throughout the United States.

Addison is a pioneer in the field of electronic music having received her MFA in electronic music and recording in the late 1980s where she began her exploration of vocals, electronics and rhythm. As the field has grown, so has she, releasing 10 albums and scoring soundtracks and sheet music. Addison is also a dancer and teaches that the meditative state is not the only way to healing so she gets people up moving, chanting, singing and dancing with her signature practice Kinetic Voice (KiVo). When not recording, she convenes dance and chant circles in the US, Europe and Africa.

What is Ecstatic Dance? – It is a moving meditation in a safe space. No steps, no dance knowledge required, no judgement….just dance like no one’s watching. Stay within the limits of your own body and preference. The music and movement can help to process emotion, relieve stress, free inhibitions, open the heart, and invite joy inside.

We’ll dance for 75 minutes, there will be a Sound Bath Healing session directly after the dance to really sink you into a blissful state. Then we’ll celebrate the full Snow Moon with a campfire! Summer Solstice Circle @ House of Light Global Nature & Renewal Center

I?t’s time for to celebrate the summer solstice! Whether you call it Midsommar or Litha, the summer solstice is a fantastic time to reflect on everything that is going right in our lives. It’s a time to celebrate the sun, the earth, and sisterhood. Bring back ceremony and ritual to your life. Bring back community and sisterhood, and reclaim your connection to the earth’s cycles.

Including ceremony, a walk through a private forest, freeform dance, share circle, solitary time for reflection and journaling in nature, and finishing with traditional Midsommar refreshments. The day will be filled with traditional Midsommar symbolism and associations, ensuring each part of the day is in full celebration of this most beautiful day and honoring the traditional origins.

T?he event will be kept intimate, focusing on a goal of 9-12 women. So reserve soon if you’re interested!
