This community events calendar is the place to find fun activities and things to do throughout Lewis County, including Centralia, Chehalis and beyond.
The Centralia Police Officer Association’s Summerfest Run is a great way to burn off some calories so you can eat more July 4th barbecue. The run is a “flat, fast 8k.” Or you can just enjoy the scenery by participating in the 1.5k Health Walk/Run. There will be free t-shirts for all participants as well as special awards.

The Randle Firefighters’ Association has you covered for Fourth of July fun, with four full days of events the entire family will like. Their schedule is as follows:
Flea Market July 1st thru 4th at the fire station, 08:00am – 6:00pm.
Firefighters Breakfast 1st and 2nd at the fire station, 07:00 – 11:00.
Fireworks July 3rd at the White Pass School grounds at dusk (10:00 ish)
On July 4, the historical Borst Home and adjoining buildings will be open for tours from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Fort Borst Park. On the lawn, they will have a to-scale display that shows the amount of living space Fort Henness had for the 224 people who dwelled there, including the Borsts and other local homesteaders, from 1855-1856.

Watch the Destruction Derby as you warm up for the fireworks show after dusk.
The show lasts roughly 30 minutes. Spectators can park at the school. No personal fireworks are allowed on school grounds.

The community is invited to the Thurston Lewis Mason Central Labor Council’s annual Labor Day Picnic, to be held at George Washington Park in the middle of Centralia.
This is an open and free event for everyone, whether you’re visiting downtown from afar, live in Centralia or just want to stop in and say hello. Live music, food and more are all on the schedule. Guests may want to bring a chair or table, as seating is very limited at the park.
For all ages. Drop in after school gets out on early release to make and take cool crafts!
