Christmas Tree, Holiday Lights & Styrofoam Recycle @ Lewis County Central Transfer Station

Another great opportunity to recycle and minimize the impact on our local landfill! Deliver your Christmas tree to the Central Transfer Station, 14 S. Tower Street, Centralia and have it turned into usable mulch for the community. Please ensure all decorations are removed from the trees! No trees or wreaths from commercial operations are accepted. flocked, artificial and/or decorated trees may not be recycled, but can be disposed for at the transfer station where regular fees will apply. Donations gladly accepted to support: Master Gardener/Master Composter/Recycle Programs

Hands On invites families of children with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the museum before it opens to the public for “Special Mornings of Play.” Note: Whenever possible we create a quiet space with calming activities during normal weekend business hours. Noise canceling earphones always available free of charge.

Prairie Steppers Square Dance Lessons @ Oakview Grange

You are invited to learn to Square Dance with the Prairie Steppers starting Tuesday Sept. 11, 2018 and continuing on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Oakview Grange, 2715 North Pearl Street in Centralia. Your first lesson is free, then just $2.50 per lesson taught by nationally known caller Don Wood.
