Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (LCPHSS) announced August 26 that two more Lewis County residents have tested positive for COVID-19. In addition, one more resident meets the definition of “recovered,” which means they are still alive and are not hospitalized 28 days after symptom onset. The total number of cases is now 329, and the “recovered” case total is now 151.

One of the four new patients is in their 40s, the other is in their 80s. Thirty Lewis County residents with COVID-19 have been hospitalized at some point during their illness.

New case and recovered totals by Commissioner District are:
