We all love a reason to dress up, especially when it means the most over-the-top, frightening, brightly colored, sparkly costumes. Each October, Quinault Beach Resort and Casino brings about the ideal opportunity to do just that. This year’s Nightmare Ball will take place on October 26 and is surely the Halloween event that you’ve been waiting to attend all year!

This annual event has progressively gotten larger and more exciting with each passing year. As one of the area’s few 21-years-old and over events, this is a hauntingly perfect opportunity to gather your friends and put together the costume of your dreams and dance the night away. The evening’s live band will feature the ever-popular, Humptulips. As one of Grays Harbor’s most sought after bands, Humptulips describes themselves as a country band with a twist of rock that’s sure to appeal to all of the ghouls, pirates and zombies in attendance.

In addition to the all-night long dance party, there will be delicious hors d’oeuvres available, as well as wickedly delicious Witches Brew served in a commemorative cup (one cup per ticket holder, additional cups available for $3 each). The admission cost also includes entry into the high-roller costume contest. With $3,500 in prizes up for grabs, this is your chance to go all out and create the best costume possible. The prize categories include: best couple ($500), scariest ($500), most original ($500), best group ($500), as well as sexiest ($1,000). Please note that costumes may not include weapons. Feel free to paint your face to accentuate your look or bring a mask, but be aware that it will not be allowed on the casino floor.
