If you’re like me, you enjoy no-fuss holiday shopping. A place where you can find something for everyone on your list without going broke.

Centralia Outlets is one of Lewis County’s best assets. Located just off I-5, the outlet mall has been serving shoppers since 1988. And with the new intersection remodel, it’s super easy to hop off the freeway (or cruise through town) and be at the mecca of factory direct pricing.

Whether it’s a day out with mom or an afternoon with friends, shopping for cute baby nieces, discerning fathers, and casual co-workers is simple because I’ve got literally every store I need within a stone’s throw of each other.

Centralia Outlets has a lot to offer, but first I must share what being an outlet store means. It means that there is no middle man. Zero. It’s factory owned, so an automatic 25 percent is marked down, meaning you spend less than what you would if you shopped the same brand at other stores.

That’s the other great thing about Centralia Outlets. Stores are separated by brand. You know exactly what merchandise is offered when you walk in the store. For example, Eddie Bauer fleeces always fit well, so I know that when I go into an Eddie Bauer outlet, my style and size will be easy to find.

Speaking of fleeces, let’s get to some gift ideas for the holidays. I’m particularly excited about the new DXL Men’s Outlet. My brother is a big guy with a great sense of style, and year after year I can never find quality clothes that look good and fit right. Not anymore! This big and tall store (shoes, too) is a smart addition to Centralia Outlets, and one I’m looking forward to shopping at.

Children’s Place and Gymboree Outlets are two great places to find low prices on cute clothes for the kids. It’s so fun to browse all the adorable outfits and soft blankets. The hardest part about shopping for kids is not over-buying. (They grow way too fast, don’t they?)

For my husband, Helly Hansen is a good choice for when we head to the mountains this winter season. It’s amazing how nice he looks on the slopes in quality, well-fitting gear. And for my brother-in-law, I like to hit up Wilson’s Leather for their stocking stuffers.

Oh, and we can’t forget about gifts for me. (Wink.) The VF Outlet has a huge selection of denim, including Wrangler and Lee. Kay Jewelers Outlet is also on-site, and I’m hoping for a nice tennis bracelet this year.

And, if you are seeking deep discounts, plan to visit the outlet clearance stores—Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike Clearance Store, and Under Armour Clearance House.

Most of the stores at Centralia Outlets have stocking stuffers (I love the little accessories at GAP Outlet) and all the stores have discounts, including the one non-brand name boutique shop, Francesca’s, which has a nice selection of women’s clothing, knick knacks, and accessories.

There are 33 shops in total at Centralia Outlets. It would be impossible to list them all here, so find out for yourself which stores are perfect for your gift-giving needs. There’s even an online coupon book to take shopping. If you’re military or a senior, your ID card will provide additional savings.

For even more discounts, the big Moonlight Madness sale starts at 9:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving night. Sales run through 1:00 a.m., with shops opening again Black Friday at 7:00 a.m. (Some stores may stay open all night.) Additional specials will go all weekend long with most stores offering additional 30-40 percent off everything in stock.
